Shorter's No. 15-ranked women's tennis team improved to 5-1 overall with a 9-0 victory over NCAA Division II University of West Georgia on Wednesday in Carrollton. The win, Shorter's fourth straight, was also the second of the season for the Lady Hawks over their future Gulf South Conference rival.
