Lady Hawk Tennis shuts out Emmanuel in Franklin Springs

ROME – The Lady Hawks tennis team took the courts at Emmanuel College Thursday evening to face the Lady Lions, and came home with their ninth victory in hand, taking Emmanuel, 9-0.
In the No. 4 singles position, Aurelie Gaborit took opponent Madalena Frausto in a flawless match of 6-0, 6-0, while Alicia Gallard followed suit, gaining a victory against Lady Lion, Jaclyn Klerk, in a seamless match of 6-0, 6-0 as well.
The Lady Hawks continued to dominate the court as doubles duo, Candice Laurent and Gaborit, took home another convincing victory of 8-0.
The Lady Hawks next take the court on March 4 when they travel to New Orleans to take on Loyola. Match time is set for 2 pm.
