Kaitie Kiser tossed a Game 1 no-hitter, Jackie Castaneda hit two homers in Game 2 and Shorter University totaled seven homers over two games as the No. 9 Lady Hawks scored a two-game sweep of Point University in non-league softball action on Wednesday in East Point.

Jessica Bowman, Charlsie Broome and Jackie Castaneda hit home runs and Kaitie Kiser fanned seven batters in three innings as the No. 9-ranked Shorter softball team opened the 2012 season with a 13-1 win over Montret College in each team's first game of the Reinhardt University Invitational on Friday morning.
