Byrom's gem powers Shorter over Oklahoma City, into Final Four
Kayla Byrom tossed a complete-game five-hitter and Southern States Athletic Conference Player of the Year Jackie Castaneda hit a homer and drove in a pair of runs as the Lady Hawks continued their breathtaking run through the NAIA Softball National Championship with a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma City on Monday afternoon.

Bray, Clements lift Shorter to upset of Cal State San Marcos
Maddie Bray recorded her third win of the tournament, Emily Clements drove in all four Shorter runs, including the go-ahead two-run homer in the fifth, and 10th-ranked Shorter scored a 4-3 upset of second-ranked Cal State San Marcos in the opening round of bracket play at the NAIA Softball National Championship.
