Lady Hawks place 5th at NAIA Women's Golf Championships
Seventh-ranked Shorter got off to a rocky start in Friday's fourth and final round and never could recover, but still managed a 75 (+2) from freshman Pauline Schopp to post a fifth place finish at the 2012 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship at the Link Hills Country Club in Greeneville, Tenn.

Bengtsson surges, SU in 3rd after two rounds at NAIA Tourney
The No. 7-ranked Lady Hawks got an even par 73 from Maria Bengtsson and a three-over 76 from ace Lisa Persson in Wednesday’s second round and currently sit third out of 28 teams after 36 holes at the 2012 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship at the Link Hills Country Club in Greeneville, Tenn.
