College Career: Former SSAC Freshman of the Year
Shelby Farrer returns for her junior season after another solid
campaign in 2010-11... Is averaging 8.8 points and 4.7 rebounds for
her career... Farrer ranked third on the team in scoring (8.4 ppg)
and third in rebounding (4.5 rpg) last season while shooting a
career-best 76 percent from the foul line... Scored a season-high
17 points in a victory over Mobile then tied that point total and
added seven rebounds in Shorter’s first round SSAC Tournament
matchup with Loyola (La.)... Had 14 points and eight boards in a
win over Berry and finished with 13 points and eight rebounds in
Shorter’s national tournament loss against Freed Hardeman...
Was named to the SSAC All-Academic team in 2010-11... Farrer was
named the SSAC’s top freshman in 2009-10 after averaging 9.2
points and 4.8 rebounds a game... Torched Berry for a career-high
23 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks in
Shorter’s win in Mount Berry... Pulled a career-high 12
boards against SSAC power Lee... Scored in double figures 14
times.

David Farrer and Darlene Perry... Has two sisters, Kacie Farrer and
