as one of the most accomplished players in school history...
Ellison is a two-time NAIA All-American and two-time All-SSAC and
SSAC All-Academic selection... Was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete in
2010-11 as well as the SSAC’s Female Honor Student-Athlete
and the NAIA’s Emil S. Liston Award winner... Enters 2011-12
needing 330 points to reach 1,000 for her career and 86 assists to
become Shorter’s all-time leader... Is averaging 10.5 points,
4.9 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals a game for her career...
Ranked second on the team in scoring (10.5 ppg) and ranked No. 5 in
the NAIA in assists at 5.4 per game in 2010-11... Nearly recorded
the first triple-double in school history with 18 points, 10
rebounds and eight assists in a win over Emmanuel on Jan. 15,
2011... Dished out double-digit assists four times last season,
including a career-high 15 against Southern Wesleyan... Had 17
points, six assists and four rebounds in Shorter’s loss to
Freed Hardeman in the first round of the national tournament... As
a sophomore in 2009-10, Ellison averaged 10.7 points and 4.5
assists... Poured in a career-high 23 points in a win over Southern
Wesleyan on Jan. 21, 2010... Enjoyed a stretch of 13 straight games
with at least one three-pointer made.
