Men's track places three in top 10 National finalists

Edwardsville, Ill. - On the second day of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' Men's Track and Field National Championships, the Shorter Hawks placed three individual athletes into the top 10 in the finals, with the 4x100 relay team placing a strong 13th.

In the high jump finals, Montagious Brown, who was the National Champion in indoor track, placed third in the nation with a jump of 2.06 meters. Two runners took 6th place in their events: Shaun Kennedy running a 10.59 in the 100 meter dash finals and Nate Scott running a 14.52 in the 110 meter hurdles final.

The 4x100 team ran a 41.68 in their 13th place finish. Shorter's other relay team, the 4x400, was still awaiting results to come in as are day two team standings.
