Hawks Tennis beats Tennessee Wesleyan, 8-1

ROME – The No. 10 Shorter University men's tennis team left Tennessee Wesleyan College with their fourth victory of the season on Saturday afternoon by taking the Bulldogs in an 8-1 finish while on the road.
Singles players held to tight leads during the match with junior Colt Kelley coming back from a close first set victory of 7-5 to overcome opponent, Neal Baldwin in a seamless second set of 6-0.
No. 3 doubles pair, Romain Lefevre and Arturo Lifshitz, also gave an unblemished performance taking Bulldogs Neal Baldwin and Nathan Storms in an 8-0 victory.
The Hawks next take the court on Feb. 28 when they host Georgia Southwestern. Match time is set for 2:30 pm.
