 Colley, Traquair hired for Shorter soccer positions Rome, Ga. - With the start of the season quickly approaching, the Shorter College soccer program has announced the hiring of Jennifer Colley as women's assistant coach and Ciaran Traquair as men's soccer graduate assistant. MORE [+]  Shorter soccer partners with Darlington for 2008-09 Rome, Ga. - Beginning with their first home games on August 27 and August 30, the Shorter College men's and women's soccer teams will have a new place to call home. Shorter head coach Josh Severns and Darlington Athletic Director Bob Stinchcomb have worked out an agreement that will allow the Hawks and Lady Hawks to play all home games at Darlington School's lacrosse field for the 2008-09 school year. MORE [+]  Men's soccer ranked first academically in NAIA Kansas City, Mo. - Following the announcement of six sports being named 2007-08 Scholar Teams at Shorter College, men's soccer has received further recognition by being named the highest men's soccer team GPA in the nation.
