Walk-off homer in ninth eliminates Baseball Hawks from tourney
Fourth-seeded Arizona Christian scored in each of the last five innings to fight back from a five-run deficit and got a two-run walk off homer from Eddie Aplin in the bottom of the ninth to beat second-seeded and 18th-ranked Shorter 10-8 in an elimination game in the Opening Round of the NAIA Baseball National Championship.

Nicholson, College of Idaho downs Baseball 6-4 in Azusa opener
Taylor Nicholson shut down Shorter for the better part of eight innings and third-seeded College of Idaho built a big lead with a four-run ninth before holding off a late charge from the Hawks and posting a 6-4 victory over second-seeded Shorter in each team’s opening game in the Azusa Bracket of the NAIA Baseball National Championship.
