Shorter University "Cheers, Chants and Cans" Cheer Clinic

When: Saturday, November 19, 2011
Where: Winthrop-King Centre
Cost: $30 (includes t-shirt) or $20 plus 10 cans of food (includes t-shirt)

Session #1: 9:30 - 11 am (Ages 5-11)

Have fun meeting the Shorter Cheer Hawks and Harold the Hawk! Learn three official Shorter cheers and chants, plus the Shorter Hawks Fight Song dance! Play cheer games and meet new friends. Enter a jump off competition to win a free prize. Participants are encouraged to wear their own cheer uniforms to the clinic. Collect your FREE Shorter Hawks Cheer t-shirt! Session #2: 11:30 am - 1 pm (Ages 12 and up)

Have fun stunting with the Shorter Cheer Hawks! Learn three official Shorter cheers and chants, plus the Shorter Hawks Fight Song dance! Clinic will focus on stunts and sideline skills. Enter a tumble off competition to win a free prize. Participants are encouraged to wear a t-shirt representing their own school to the clinic. Collect your FREE Shorter Hawks Cheer t-shirt! Receive a 10% discount by pre-registering at Hot Shots Cheerleading no later than November 15, 2011. Cost is $30 per participant (includes t-shirt) or $20 per participant plus 10 cans of food (includes t-shirt). Cash and checks are accepted (make checks payable to Shorter University). All canned goods will be donated to the local Rome Urban Ministries food pantry. Pre-registration is not required and all ability levels will be accepted.

Both sessions will be held at the Winthrop-King Centre on the Shorter University campus in Rome, Ga.
