Josh Tucker has worked with Shorter University on a full-time basis since 2004. Tucker's primary responsibilities at Shorter include working with the soccer teams as well as volleyball, baseball and the competitive cheerleading squads.

Born in Moultrie, Ga., Tucker graduated from Berry College in 1995 with a degree in Sports Performance and Athletic Training. In 1996, Tucker began working at CAIR Rehab in Cartersville, Ga. where he treated the Adairsville football team in addition to Olympic gymnastic athletes.

From 1997-2004, Tucker worked with Redmond Outpatient Rehab in Rome while taking a part-time stint with Shorter University and The Darlington School from 1998-2000 and with the Armuchee High football from 2000-2004.

In 2004, Tucker began working with Floyd Sports Medicine and became a full-time trainer on the Hill.

At the conclusion of the 2009-10 academic year, Tucker was honored as the Southern States Athletic Conference Athletic Trainer of the Year for his excellent work with one of the conference's top athletic programs.
