Robert Long


Robert Long
was a two-year letterman for the Hawks' baseball team. In his junior year, Long went 8-2 with a 1.75 earned run average in 77 innings of work.

Long helped lead the Hawks to two straight conference championships in 1975 and 1976 and consecutive District titles in those same seasons.

Long was an All-GIAC and District 25 selection before reaching the Major Leagues with Pittsburgh in 1981 and Seattle in 1985.
