Orville Adams (Men's Tennis)

Orville Adams enjoyed one of the most successful tennis careers in Shorter history. Adams was a three-time NAIA All-American, garnered All-GIAC/NAIA District 25 accolades four times and was ranked as high as No. 5 nationally in singles. Adams – nicknamed “Big O” – went 71-11 in his first two years at Shorter. Since graduating from Shorter in 1994, Adams has served as associate head coach of the men and women’s tennis programs and head coach of the Shorter men and women’s soccer teams. He now serves as head coach of Shorter’s tennis programs.
