Shorter Athletics finishes best year in history; ranked 21st in nation
Rome, Ga. - With seven top 20 finishes from its spring sports teams, Shorter has just been ranked 21st in the country in the Director's Cup rankings, released today by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). Lady Hawks earn Louisville Slugger All-American and All-East Region honors
Starkville, Miss. - In the 2008 Softball Louisville Slugger NAIA All-American and All-East Region teams announced today by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), five Shorter College Lady Hawks picked up honors. Libby Munson and Jessica Sanders were named Second Team All-American; Munson, Sanders, and Kandi Bruno were named East Region First Team, and Kerry Hammond and Lakyn Newton were named East Region Second Team.
